Observatories
The Lancashire Observatory is my main base with the Yorkshire Dales used as a dark sky location for weekends and holidays. The former is over 25 years old now and has withstood the Lancashire climate extremely well. It has been repainted a few times and is now 2-tone green. My Yorkshire Dales base nestles under the Howgills which seem to attract clouds even when everywhere else is clear!
